The Salvation Army - Metro Division Corps Secretary in Jefferson City, Missouri
The Salvation Army corps located in Jefferson City, Missouri, is looking for a friendly, organized person to join their team as the new Corps Secretary. This is a part-time position, 20 hours a week, that comes with benefits such as 13 paid holidays, vacation time, sick time, personal time and is eligible for participation in the company funded pension plan. Starting pay is $10.30 an hour.
-Help to process volunteer applications and paperwork
-Process all billing and vendor related information-Process Human Resources related paperwork and maintain employee files-Answer phone calls during business hours and forward to relevant departments as needed

High school diploma or equivalent with one year work experience. Combination of training and work experience will be considered. An ability to organize and coordinate people, and events, and communicate information in an efficient and clear manner is essential. Good social interaction skills with a friendly, out-going personality are needed. Computer skills, including proficiency in MS Word and Excel, and ability to extract reports from databases is required. Valid drivers’ license, pass TSA MVR check and have reliable transportation is required. Be a team player, a self-starter, and perform well with minimum supervision.
