Are you an experienced marketing professional with extensive, demonstrated capabilities in planning, producing and executing strategic client-focused marketing campaigns and programs? Are you looking to take your skills to the next level? EY’s Americas Consulting Brand, Marketing and Communications (BMC) team has an opening for an experienced multichannel marketer with a strong demand generation background. Responsibilities will encompass overseeing a wide range of marketing programs to promote the practice’s brand and reputation to external audiences, including current and future clients, future employees, the media and the communities within which we operate.
Employing a digital-first mindset, you’ll have the opportunity todevelop and set the direction for Americas Consulting marketing campaigns, aligned to the Consulting practice’s strategic goals and revenue plan.Working closely with content partners, you’ll develop insights that challenge thinking with greater focus on business implications, driving lead-gen activity and maximizing impact. You’ll work agilely with enabling teams to codevelop and coordinate go-to-market programs aligned around key audience issues and themes and leverage clear, data-based metrics to optimize audience reach.
Your key responsibilities
Leading a team of demand generation specialists, in this role you will be responsible for providing strategic direction to the team for the creation of demand and lead generations campaigns, including email, events, paid social, SEM, programmatic, retargeting, among other channels. You will develop comprehensive marketing strategies which calendar multi-channel campaigns to drive demand and measurable impact. Responsibilities include:
Lead a demand generation team to plan and execute end-to-end demand generation programs including emails, nurtures, paid media, content syndication, etc.
Ensure campaigns are being developed to with business goals for key buyer personas through a deep understanding of the buyer’s journey.
Provide leadership to ensure the creation of innovative multi-channel campaigns to drive MQLs and pipeline while closely monitoring conversion rates and optimizing campaigns at each stage of the funnel.
Deliver testing strategies to support journey optimization, overseeing the implementation of A/B and multivariate tests to continuously improve campaign performance.
Grow distribution across all channels, not just owned channels. Must be able to work closely with content strategist to ensure content creation is supported by SEO/SEM optimization, ABM, social and PPC strategy
Work closely with other service lines, sectors across the Americas, as well as Global Consulting BMC, to build cross-functional cohesion
Create personas tied to specific customer needs and preferences
Leverage marketing automation and lead management to streamline, automate and measure all marketing programs and workflows.
Measure, analyze and report campaign performance
Skills and attributes for success
Adept at creating strategic, targeted and impactful go-to-market initiatives to commercialize services and solutions
Demonstrated ability to lead a high performing team of diverse and geographically dispersed individuals
Proven track record of accomplishments in multichannel marketing and ability to drive the build of engaging content behind strategic initiatives
Experience managing ABM strategies
Analytical with the ability to translate data insights and business decisions into actions/tests.
Demonstrated success in building internal and external relationships at a senior level
Ability to manage relationships with external agencies, effectively articulating business needs and KPIs to brief and engage outside vendors
Demonstrated knowledge of digital marketing platforms (e.g., DemandBase, Marketo, Google Analytics/AdWords) to target buyers, benchmark campaigns and track ROI
Ability to work autonomously when necessary in a virtual work environment, while maintaining connectivity with your team and other members of the practice
To qualify for the role, you must have
Minimum of 12 plus years of experience in marketing
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing or related field, MBA desired
Strong business acumen and understandingof how environmental factors affect the firm, practice, markets, and solutions
Excellent written and verbal communication skills (including presentations) as well as listening, interpretation and influencing skills
Excellent project management skills, team building and interpersonal communication skills
Must be able to articulate complex subject matter in a straightforward, concise and easily digestible manner for broad audiences
Poise and confidence to professionally interact with all levels of leadership
Ideally, you’ll also have
Adept at knowledge sharing and a strong understanding of sales funnel content strategy including thought leadership
Ability to project manage complex programs and drive associated and relationship building efforts
