Job Title: Plant Controller

Location: Jackson, Missouri

Reports to: Sr Manager Finance - Operations

Job Summary:

The Plant Controller provides financial leadership to the Jackson manufacturing and/or distribution facility. This facility has around 250 employees. Control the integrity of the financial data, ensuring that it is recorded accurately and consistently on a monthly basis. Provide leadership team with informative analysis to aid in decision making and to ensure compliance with all federal regulations and laws from a financial reporting standpoint (including risk assessment and financial reporting.)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide weekly monthly financial data to help guide themanagement team including Labor analysis, Material Price analysis, CapitalSpend analysis and all other overhead

  • Provide Expense and Capital Budgets and Forecasts

  • Ensure compliance with all Sarbanes requirements @plant level including fixed asset controls. Segregation of duty, inventoryaccuracy, General Account Principles

  • Supervise all payroll, cycle count, accts payable andIT functions

  • Help set and maintain all standard costs, review allvariances on a monthly basis

  • Ensure all monetary transactions are trackedefficiently, effectively and are recorded on a monthly basis to the G/L

Key Qualifications:

  • 4-year accounting degree, CPA, CMA preferred

  • 3-5 years of experience in manufacturing accountingposition

  • Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, Power Point and SAPexperience

  • Excellent written and verbal skills with heavy emphasison teamwork

  • Proactive, detail-oriented problem solver
