Defense Research Analyst Lead

Key Role:

Identify, analyze, evaluate and monitor extremely complex and highly sensitive foreign and domestic systems and instrumentation, including methods, procedures, and processes. Perform all-source scientific and technical intelligence analysis to determine characteristics of various systems and functions of instrumentation. Report changes, trends and implications regarding design and integration of evolving systems and instrumentation, and solve complex information requirements problems via a combination of analytic judgment and proven analytic practices. Prepare briefings and reports on analyses methodologies and results, and identify results of military threats, including non-governmental threats. Provide work leadership to junior employees. Serve as an expert and leverage knowledge in client delivery, develop expertise in specific area. Take a leadership role in generating intellectual capital to help the firm grow its business.

Basic Qualifications:

-Experience in unit or staff-level chemical, biological, radiological, and nuclear (CBRN) planning and operations

-Knowledge of military doctrine, operating concepts, and staffing processes for new doctrinal documents

-Ability to write and coordinate approvals for technical documents

-Active TS/SCI clearance

-BA or BS degree

Additional Qualifications:

-Experience with US Army or Marine corps field operations overseas

-Knowledge of Army Field Manuals for CBRN planning and operations

-Ability to brief senior military and government officials

-MA or MS degree, preferred

-Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification, preferred

Clearance:

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance is required.
