Maritz Reconciliation Audit Specialist in Fenton, Missouri

Audits all outsourced final billing documentation to assure budget and billing accuracy. Independently represents the client’s best interests to ensure outsourced supplier compliance to client policies and audit requirements.

60%-Audit the final billing, invoice backup, and budget entries for programs events. Compare hotel contract terms and concessions to hotel bills, assuring terms and concessions are reflected. Audit final budget summaries and savings capture forms to confirm that both are accurate and entered into the client tracking system correctly. Audit anticipated commission entered in client technology to confirm accuracy to final bill.

40% -Communicate errors to multiple client logistics suppliers, confirm corrections are made, and track corrections. Track discrepancies in the system and Provide reports as required.

Qualifications

  1. Associates or Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required or equivalent work experience.

  2. Strong written and oral communication skills and organizational and mathematical skills.

  3. Ability to multi-task on multiple projects simultaneously and to interact with a large team of associates.

  4. Self-starter, motivator, and problem-solver.
