Leidos Document Production Specialist in EARTH CITY, Missouri
The candidate will be responsible for the layout, editing, final word processing, and physical production of high-quality technical and scientific documents, reports, proposals, etc.
Typical duties could include working closely with document authors, ensuring compliance with contract or company document requirement specifications, closely reviewing/editing documents for grammar and consistency, and physical printing and binding of hard-copy document deliverables. Work is typically performed as a member of a project team and requires significant interaction with peers and management. Additional duties would include maintenance of production logs and databases as well as maintenance/organization of hard copy and electronic document libraries.
Required Education Bachelor's degree in English (or a related field).
Required Skills: This is a position with the employee will apply writing and editing experience and fundamentals in a variety of ways. Must have the ability to perform well in a dynamic, multidisciplinary environment, working as a vital team member. Candidate must have excellent written and verbal communication skills. Candidate should have the aptitude and desire to provide document production support to a variety of aspects related to environmental consulting and be willing to perform at high levels in a variety of roles related to the document production process.
Desired Skills: A demonstrated proficiency in software such as Microsoft Word and Excel will be favorably considered.
