U.S. Bank Business Technology Analyst VI - Earth City, MO in EARTH CITY, Missouri

Position Highlights:

  • Serves as a computer technology expert for assigned functional applications to assist business lines with development and ongoing support

  • Provides project release direction and support including research, analysis, review, development, implementation and monitoring of new or revised systems

  • Acts as a liaison for project release and typically perform analysis supporting the strategies and objectives of the business line

  • Compiles and analyzes information that is very detailed and often interpretive making project release recommendations based on the findings

  • Interfaces with internal and external resources to ensure successful completion, installation and implementation in accordance with client needs


Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience

  • 10 or more years of experience in project management, and computer technology applications and analysis

Preferred Skills/Experience:

Preferred Skills and Experience:

  • Detailed understanding of mortgage originations, operations and mortgage technology

  • Solid knowledge of policies, plans, procedures, products and regulatory requirements for the Mortgage business unit

  • Adept in conducting analysis of business needs, including scheduling meetings, planning agendas and conferring with business line leaders

  • Comprehensive understanding of project management, testing methodology, requirement gathering techniques and methods

  • Comfortable in an agile environment

  • Identify customer expectation, understand design solution, minimize risk and seek out improvement opportunities proactively

  • Develop test schedules, review testing plans, track test issues and report on test results

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks/projects and deadlines simultaneously with limited supervision

  • Self- starter with strong analytical skills, problem solving and Logical thinking

  • Excellent verbal and written presentation and communication skills

  • Excellent computer skills, especially Microsoft Office applications
