NA Market Development Manager - Fungicides, Insecticides, Biologicals, and Nematodes
YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The primary responsibilities of this role, North America Market Development Manager, are to:
This role will be responsible forFungicides, Insecticides, Biologicals, and Nematodes within Cotton, Soy, and Specialty crops.
Define and enable testing strategies for the Bayer portfolio that delivers the data package needed for the creation of local product and tailored solution recommendations and value quantification;
Collaborate with Technology, Research and Development (R&D), Breeding, Climate, Regional Marketing and the Data Science and Analytics teams to maximize the value and insights from product characterization data to enable recommendations to optimize the value of our portfolio for customers;
Define testing strategies to provide data supporting product performance and product pricing activities and ensure the incorporation of the data into Bayer data systems in a timely manner;
Develop and demonstrate features, advantages and benefits for the Bayer portfolio of products and technologies to support the commercial LRP Drive alignment and confidence with agronomists, field sales, technology development and leadership on strategic goals and product tactical implementation;
Manage financial budgets for external expenditures of assigned projects;
Work with Technology Development to request field trials within internal capacity and budget;
Manage product performance data for summaries, analysis, recommendations, storage and retrieval including preparation of final annual report summarizing test results and providing recommendations for future testing for assigned products;
Maintain active knowledge of industry trends and developments and provide input to guide early and mid-development programs through close working relationships with segment Technical Managers, Field Solutions and Product Management peers.
Domestic relocation may be offered with this role.

Master’s degree in the field of agronomy, or related scientific discipline with at least six years of relevant experience in the agriculture industry, OR Ph.D. with at least four years of relevant experience in the agricultural industry;
Understanding of regional agronomic practices and farmer needs;
Ability to design, conduct, and interpret complex scientific experiments, develop and implement research proposals, author scientific reports, and communicate findings;
Excellent computer skills and ability to use various software programs, including Microsoft Office and ARM and an aptitude for data management, handling and operations;
Strong communication, collaboration, influencing, business acumen and stakeholder management skills Leading/influencing key stakeholders.
- Master’s degree in the field of agronomy, or related scientific discipline with at least six years of relevant experience in the agriculture industry, with field research experience.
