Title: Supplier Diversity Manager
Duration: 6+ months (temp-hire!!)
Location: Clayton MO (could also sit out of Florida, North Carolina, or Georgia)
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
To provide analytical and RFP support to the program. To drive processes and strategy for analytics and sourcing categories.
Collect, combine data to create category, health plan and corporate dashboards.
Communicate results to SD, procurement and business lines.
Use data and knowledge to drive RFX inclusion through interaction with sourcing managers and buyers, as well as finance and other teams throughout company.
Gather statistical data and utilize methods to create data models that depict spend, trends and forecasting
Lead projects and coordinate with other teams to produce better business outcomes
Work with sourcing & business lines team to create a prioritized list of SD strategies for each business segment.
Understand budgets, category and business line strategies in order to draw conclusions and assist in the creation of multi-year sourcing plans.
Understand contracts, RFP processes and negotiation strategies
Support all SD reporting / ad hoc needs
Manages individual(s) including but not limited to: hires, trains, assigns work, manages & evaluates performance, conducts professional development plans.
20% travel- once we get back in the office
- Tops 3 skills:
- RFX (RFI, RFP, or RFQ) experience is a must
- Understand sourcing stagey
Communication skills –
Ideal candidate will understand Analytics and GL code and can collect and consolidate data into a dashboard. Also will be managing corporate RFX for diversity and inclusion.
Would like someone with previous supplier diversity experience.
Ideal background as a sourcing manager, procurement manager and analytics, budgeting experience, financial analyst, etc.
Excellent analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
Superior presentation and negotiation skills
Proven management and organizational skills
Strong adaptability and capacity to work in fast-paced environments
In-depth understanding of organizational data flow and its use in management decision-making
Work with departmental managers to outline the specific data needs for each business method analysis project
Participates on best practice exchange teams or other work teams established to effect change.
Responds to changes in the business which may affect the ability to achieve the goals.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Education / Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in business or finance or other related field. 6+ years of financial analysis, sourcing & procurement, or other experience.
