Moneta Group Processing Specialist in Clayton, Missouri

The Processing Specialist is responsible for processing requests with Moneta’s designated custodial vendors. This role will encompass working on existing service requests and details of process, as well as helping to build new processes to create maximum efficiencies. The Processing Specialist will manage the custodial processing and monitoring functions of the client relationship.

Moneta is an independent Registered Investment Advisor (RIA) wholly focused on going further for our clients. We are one firm with many solutions, and we provide a full spectrum of financial advisory services, but our true purpose is centered on building relationships and providing exceptional service to our clients around the globe.

  • Maintaining services requests from our teams on a daily basis

  • Manage the account opening process for new clients including:

  • Completing applications and supplementary account forms

  • Reviewing supporting documentation

  • Resolving paperwork discrepancies

  • Tracking new account statuses and communicating updates to client teams

  • Initiates and tracks the Transfer of Assets (TOA) process associated with new accounts. Monitors assets as they are received by the custodian and follows up on any inconsistencies from statements audited against assets received.

  • Reviews new account and account maintenance workflows and updates as needed. Communicates updates to firm.

  • Processes account maintenance items for existing clients

  • Maintains intranet as a source of information for teams.

  • Acts as the intermediary between client teams and custodian for issue resolution.

  • Communicates with the firm on updates to custodial requirements, regulatory impacts on process change, and modifications to processes and forms.

  • Fosters an environment of open, honest, and timely communication

  • Ensures the vision and core values of Moneta Group are incorporated into the duties and responsibilities of the position

  • B.S. Business, Finance, or related field preferred

  • One year or more of relevant experience

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications; Salesforce CRM and DocuSign preferred

  • Strong problem-solving skills

  • Work experience that demonstrates interpersonal and teamwork skills

  • Must be organized, meticulous, detail-oriented, and able to multitask

  • Ability to interact well with external service providers and all employees

  • Commitment to ‘Raving Fan’ service

  • Professional attitude, demeanor, and appearance
