The Senior Data Analyst will lead efforts in developing and maintaining the plan for automated support for Company 's Risk Claims and Insurance group including support of relevant litigation processes and information. Ensures reliability and effectiveness of Computer Assisted Audit Tools and compliance with laws and regulations. Prepares documentation and reports to communicate trends and recommendations to various levels of leadership under general supervision of the Executive Director, Risk Claims and Insurance. Has a solid understanding of general controls, best practices, and business processes. Responsible for ongoing monitoring and support of the systems' infrastructure and contributes to the overall department-wide goals and objectives. Works with process owners to define, develop and execute data analytics and implement continuous monitoring to evaluate, support, and enhance business processes. This includes leading efforts to define business requirements, identifying and extracting data, executing analyses, and preparing written documentation and deliverables. Performs duties and responsibilities in a manner consistent with our mission, values, and Company Service Standards. * Under the general direction of the Executive Director, Risk Claims and Insurance, is responsible for managing the execution of systems that support Company 's Risk, Claims, Insurance, and Litigation processes and information. * Assists in the execution of the plan for automated support for Company 's risk, claims, insurance, and litigation processes and information currently Riskmaster, Business Objects, Datix, and Serengeti. * Ensures reliability of systems through partnerships internally and externally. * Designs and implements audit plan for integrity of the systems and user access in compliance with HIPAA and relevant legal requirements and privileges. * Leads internal "User Group" and identifies recommendations for continuous process improvements. * Develops and prepares reports for * risk, claims, legal, and leadership audiences; * data quality control; * actuarial and insurer information needs, and * miscellaneous other purposes. * Develops and prepares ad-hoc reports in response to user needs. * Assesses training needs and develops and executes plan to train users, new and existing, on use of systems and reporting tools. * Stays current on new technology enhancement and tools and offers solutions to business needs. * Prepares presentations including graphical display of information for multiple audiences. * Responsible for developing and maintaining documentation of processes and systems.
