The Executive Assistant provides compassionate service and respects the personal dignity of patients, public and co-workers in a spirit of cooperation. Performs a variety of skilled secretarial services such as typing, routing mail, screening phone calls, scheduling appointments, maintaining files, departmental support and training, and preparing reports and presentations. Deals with information and material of a highly confidential nature. Plans and organizes daily activities for self and Vice President, adapts to interruptions and unexpected changes in priorities and provides support to departmental directors. That's why you'll bring to your role the right set of qualifications: * Education: High school diploma. Prefer Bachelor's Degree * Experience: 3-5 years experience as an executive assistant * Other: * Computer knowledge in Microsoft Office software and ability to create presentations in PowerPoint, spreadsheets in Excel, and simple databases in Access. * The ability to use Microsoft Outlook and Exchange. * Interpersonal skills necessary to courteously and effectively deal with a diverse group of corporate, government, and agency visitors and callers, as well as all levels of management and employees. * Analytical ability necessary to develop effective record keeping systems. * The ability research, assemble, calculate, and prepare data for reports. * Judgment necessary to know when to respond to inquiries or refer questions to others, and to plan and organize daily work activities and adapt to unexpected changes in priorities. * Organizational abilities to locate, document information and to coordinate meetings, conferences or activities. * Reasoning skills to know when to react and respond without direction to help deter potential problems.
