Oracle Business Analyst 3-Ops in Chesterfield, Missouri

Provides programs to improve operational efficiency, consistency, and compliance in support of the organization*s financial and tactical business objectives. Provides business practices and processes. Develops, communicates, and trains the organization on business practices and processes.

Serve as a liaison with other divisions such as Finance, Contracts, HR, Legal, Shared Services, Accounts Receivable, Purchasing, and Risk Management in an effort to ensure accurate and timely transaction processing. Collect, input, verify, correct, and analyze data to measure key performance indicator actual versus business objectives. Provide updates to management regarding budget to actual, informing them of deviations and opportunities. Provide management with economic impact and compliance issues surrounding key business decisions and/or deals. Communicate Oracle Business Practices to the organization and monitor process and approvals for full compliance. Drive implementation of new processes and procedures.

Job duties are varied and complex utilizing independent judgment. May have project lead role. Attention to detail critical. Ability to collect, organize, and display data in spreadsheet format. Follow-through skills necessary to get information from internal and third parties and have data errors/omissions corrected. For this, relationship management skills strongly desired. Strong written and verbal communication skills to interact with management and possible clients desired. 5 plus years relevant work experience.

Job Description

As a member of the Marketing and Sales Planning and Analysis team, the Marketing and Sales Planning Senior Analyst will be responsible for measuring and communicating the results of marketing efforts to the marketing and sales organizations. The successful candidate should be a strong problem solver, have excellent communication skills and demonstrate exceptional organization and multitasking abilities. We are looking for someone who is intellectually curious, has an eye for identifying issues, and has a passion for solving some of our biggest challenges.

Responsibilities

The Senior Analyst in this role will support the following activities, along with ad hoc projects as necessary:

  • Provide reporting and analysis to marketing and sales management (lead reporting, pipeline reporting, and marketing influence).

  • Creation of presentations to convey the state of the business and present challenges and solutions to a senior leadership audience.

  • Proactively identify trends; suggest process and resource allocation adjustment to capitalize on these trends.

  • Contribute to analysis and measurement of strategic marketing plan in support of Sales pipeline and revenue objectives.

  • Standardize and streamline reporting wherever possible to drive actionable insight through NetSuite/DOMO Dashboards and marketing & sales tools.

  • Collaborate with Marketing, Sales, and Business Development teams to identify areas of risk and opportunity.

Qualifications

  • 3-6 years of experience supporting sales and/or marketing in a Finance, Sales Operations, Marketing Operations, or Data Analysis role.

  • Strong presentation skills and comfort presenting to an executive audience.

  • Comfortable with large amounts of data and being able to source and interpret data sets.

  • Proven track record with data visualization and analysis including dashboard reporting.

  • High level of proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel.

  • Strong attention to detail with quality and accuracy in data being a top priority.

  • Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills.

  • Excellent interpersonal skills, both written and verbal, with an ability to build strong professional relationships at all levels.

  • Experience with BI software. DOMO experience a plus.

  • Experience with NetSuite or at a SAAS company preferred.
