PBM Pricing Strategies Analyst Sr (Pharmacy Pricing, Trend & Cost of Care Analytics ) - PS10106

Location: ANY Anthem location / Remote

Sign on bonus available : This is a "REMOTE" located role. However, we are offering a sign-on bonus for those candidates who wish to work onsite daily in one of the following office locations: Mason-OH, Virginia Beach-VA, Atlanta-GA, or St. Louis-MO. (external candidates only)

As a PBM Pricing Strategy Analyst Sr , you will participate in Pharmacy pricing and revenue management. Manage pharmacy accounts and assist in increasing Pharmacy revenue streams for 2018 and forward.

Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to :

  • Develop policies and business rules around Anthem’s pharmacy revenue streams.

  • Assist in managing accounts pharmacy revenue.

  • Support current revenue process for pharmacy.

  • Monitor PBM pricing guarantees and assist in maximizing pharmacy revenue.

  • Supports the Pharmacy Services team in implementing future revenue, member expansion and growth capacity.

  • Requires a BA/BS in Finance, Economics, or related field.

  • 3 years of experience with a Pharmacy Benefits Manager (PBM), pricing, data analysis; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.

  • Strong analytical skills.

  • Excellent written and verbal skills required.

  • PBM knowledge a plus along with experience with pricing/networks/network margin from pharmacy.

Preferred:

  • Advanced level of Excel and Access.

  • Experience with both SAS and SQL.
