As a Marketing Specialist, you will work with cross-functional teams to deliver marketing messages, content and materials that improve brand and product awareness for multiple Hussmann product and services groups. This role directly supports the Hussmann Retail and Connected Services organization, which includes Aperion omni-channel solutions, StoreConnect actionable intelligence technology, the Retail Performance Management program, Door and Glass solutions, and
Hussmann’s market-leading Service and Installation team.
This role is part of the Corporate Marketing Communications team, reporting to the Director of Corporate Marketing Communications with a dotted line to the Retail and Connected Services business leaders.
Leading, supporting and contributing to the design, creation, and delivery of marketing programs and campaigns
Collaborating with product teams and project managers to understand needs and then develop those into effective communications for internal and external initiatives
Acting as the communication nerve center for multiple projects, ensuring timely and consistent correspondence
Assisting and participating in multiple projects simultaneously
Creating thought leadership pieces and materials for products and solutions (specifically Aperion and StoreConnect)
Delivering sales presentations, campaign updates, and communication between to internal teams and clients (as needed).
Work closely with the sales team on program development and implementation including the creation and execution of lead generation programs
Updating Web, Social media and Online content for Retail and Connected Services
Working with project and sales teams on email or direct customer communications or campaigns
Tracks metrics and analytics for campaigns and projects
Skills and Experience:
Bachelors degree required.
5 + years in a marketing communications role supporting product and sales initiatives
Previous Food Retail experience preferred
Proficiency with suite of Microsoft Office programs
Graphic design ability including working knowledge of Photoshop, InDesign and Illustrator
Familiarity with Web development and content management publishing systems, SEO and Google Analytics and software (CMS). HTML and other Web development coding experience a plus
Ability to work across multiple product lines and businesses in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
Strong organization and prioritization skills
Strong verbal communicator with excellent presentational and analytical skills
