MERS/MO Goodwill Industries Coordinator Access Employment Program in Brentwood, Missouri

MERS Goodwill is looking for an experienced, passionate, and high energy individual to help us coordinate and supervise our department of Access Employment Program services at Lippman Career Center. The position is full-time weekdays, has excellent benefits, and will use established best practices from our St. Louis programs to expand services to this location. The Coordinator will be working with survivors of domestic violence to obtain employment based on their interests, abilities, and support needs. Maintain current knowledge of the job market, community employers, and an understanding of individual consumers? functional limitations. Ongoing communication with referral sources and maintenance of consumer.

Primary Duties Include:

  • Coordinate and supervise the Access Employment Program services working with survivors of domestic violence.

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with shelters and state and local partners and provide ongoing communication regarding case activities.

  • Ability to supervise staff effectively and carry an individualized caseload.

  • Maintaining documentation for consumer files and maintaining confidentiality according to Agency guidelines.

  • Provide vocational and career counseling and case management to the individual(s) referred to the program and who are experiencing domestic violence and seeking employment.


  • BS/BA in Social Work or related field and 2 years of relevant work experience required.

  • Attention to detail, organization, and excellent verbal and written communication required

  • Valid drivers license, current auto insurance, and independent transportation required.
