The Boeing Company Senior Sustainability Strategy Analyst - Program Management Office / Governance in Berkeley, Missouri
The Boeing Company is currently seeking a Senior Sustainability Strategy Analyst – Program Management Office / Governance to join the Global Enterprise Sustainability (GES) organization.
GES is a recently formed organization with the mission of helping Boeing achieve our vision to innovate and operate to make the world better. Our Program Management Office (PMO)/Governance team has an outstanding opportunity for a strategic thinker with a passion for sustainability. The role of the PMO/Governance team is focused on engaging externally with a variety of stakeholders to bring the outside in, advancing our sustainability reporting and messaging, and integrating and driving Sustainability strategy, initiatives and performance across the enterprise.

The preferred/primary location for the position is St. Louis, MO. Additional locations include: Chicago, IL; Seattle, WA; Arlington, VA.
Bringing the outside in through benchmarking analysis, attending industry peers/forums, and researching, identifying and tracking sustainability trends to capture insights and import best practices
Actively performing Stakeholder engagement and analysis through outreach with external sustainability standards, reporting and framework organizations, and rating agencies to develop relationships and a detailed understand the frameworks and ratings systems to identify gaps and priorities for Boeing’s sustainability focus
Driving enterprise sustainability strategy and performance through engagement with the Global Sustainability Council and Extended Council members and integrated goal setting & KPI tracking
Managing Boeing's Sustainability reporting activities including supporting the comprehensive enterprise Sustainability report, responding to surveys and rating agency questions, and governing data release
Collaborating on external and internal communication and education efforts including developing targeted, intentional stakeholder engagement plans
Engaging with internal functional partners including Supply Chain, Global Compliance and Ethics, Legal/Corporate Secretary’s office, Investor Relations, Business Unit focals and our Environment and Social teammates on Governance topics and Sustainability initiatives, as well as sharing, advising, and importing best practices
Managing centralized GES operating budget and sustainability investment funds
The position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a “US Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. “US Person” includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
Bachelor’s Degree or higher
3+ years of experience creating and developing strategy plans and/or executing strategies and managing projects
3+ years of experience developing and maintaining relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers and partners
3+ years of experience developing executive level presentations
3+ years of experience with program management, project management and/or business operations
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Experience working in Sustainability, including familiarity with reporting frameworks and rating agencies
Typical Education & Experience:
Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 9 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD+4 years' related work experience, Master+7 years' related work experience, 13 years' related work experience, etc.)
